The Catacombs and Necromancy

The action-RPG Dark Souls features a compact, interconnected world heavily inspired by the dark fantasy manga Berserk. Its subterranean Catacombs and Tomb of the Giants are ruled by Gravelord Nito, the first of the dead. Nito commands skeletons that resurrect indefinitely unless killed by divine weapons or by defeating their necromancers. Nito's power was stolen by Pinwheel, a tragic necromancer boss formed by fusing a mother, father, and child.
