On Christmas Eve 1945, a fire destroyed the Fayetteville, West Virginia home of George and Jennie Sodder. Six family members escaped, but five children vanished, leaving no remains in the ashes. Tampered utilities, missing ladders, and prior threats suggested arson and abduction. Despite decades of searching, billboard rewards, and reported sightings, their fate remains an unsolved mystery.
