Dover Hellhound

This topic explores legendary creatures and cryptids. It covers hellhounds and ghostly black dogs from global folklore—such as East Anglia’s Black Shuck and Delaware’s Fence Rail Dog—often seen as death omens. Alongside these legends is the Dover Demon, a bizarre, spindly-limbed being with a watermelon-shaped head, famously reported by teenagers in Massachusetts in 1977.
